Bounce Guard is our member requested courtesy overdraw program. Coastal wants to do our part to save you from a costly and embarrassing overdraft experience.

Please Note: Bounce Guard is not overdraft protection. It's an emergency service provided for a fee. It is much more expensive than overdraft protection. The best way to protect your account from overdrafts is through an Overdraft Line-of-Credit.

With Coastal’s Bounce Guard, it’s simple:

• You don’t have to sign anything—enrollment is automatic!
• This service is discretionary account protection extended to members in good standing and is non-contractual.
• Bounce Guard covers your overdrawn checking account up to $500 (including all Bounce Guard and other fees).
• Best of all, the fee is only $28 per item.
• Bounce Guard covers Checks and ACH Debits (ATM and Visa Check Card transactions are not covered by this program).
