Convenient options make loan repayment a snap.

It’s easy to arrange for automatic payments from your checking account

Here's how Coastal’s loan payment options could help you bank better:

  • Schedule payments for free in Digital Banking or through our mobile app*
  • Visit a Coastal branch between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. seven days a week to make payments in person, or let a representative help you set up an automatic payment
  • Write a check and send it to: Coastal Credit Union, Attn: Payments, P.O. Box 10009, Irmo, SC 29063-5009.
  • Mail your credit card payments to: Coastal Credit Union, P.O. Box 37035, Boone, IA 50037-0035.
  • Make a payment to your Coastal loan from an account at another financial institution with Western Union Speedpay.  The fee for this service is $5 (This service will be discontinued in the 2nd Quarter of 2018)
  • Call 800-868-4262 and choose option 0 (zero); the fee for this service is $5

No one likes paying the bills. But at Coastal, we make the process a bit easier.

At Coastal Credit Union, we go out of our way to make our loan application process friendly, efficient and straight-forward. We’ve tried to do the same for the repayment process. Because our North Carolina neighbors have different lifestyles and comfort levels in handling money, we accept loan repayment in a variety of ways.

One approach is to sign up for Digital Banking. It’s a free service, and you can use it to have monthly loan payments automatically deducted from your checking account. Not only can you easily track your progress in paying off your loan, but you can also keep tabs on your other accounts. If you’re more comfortable paying over the phone, by credit card or by check, that’s fine with us, too. Or stop in and make your payment in person at one of Coastal’s branches. You’ll always find a friendly face when you do business with us.

No, Bill Pay is a standard service that is free to all Coastal members. Expedited payments are also available, but charges may apply.

Log in to Digital Banking and select the Bill Pay icon. Once you have reviewed and accepted the terms and conditions, Bill Pay will walk you through setting up a payee and making your first payment.

The way the payment is remitted depends on the merchant, payment history, recent activity, and the amount of the payment. Depending on the payment method some payments are debited up front before the check is mailed. To determine if your payment was processed in this manner you can refer to your account transaction history. The account will show debited on the due date you entered in bill pay.

Yes. You can edit or delete payments in the Scheduled Payments section.

Yes. You can choose from a variety of frequencies in a drop-down menu when setting up a new payment.
