We are pleased to share that we will be launching a new credit and debit card security feature called Visa 3D Secure (3DS) One-Time Passcodes. This feature will assist our ongoing efforts to increase your account security and combat fraud.
All credit cards will be automatically enrolled on Dec. 16 and all debit cards will be automatically enrolled mid-January.
The 3DS feature works in conjunction with Coastal’s existing fraud measures so that when a questionable online transaction is attempted, you will receive a one-time passcode via text message to verify your identity and complete the transaction.
With this new feature, you will be able to complete your transactions quicker and not have to wait for a call from Fraud Prevention to verify a valid attempt on your card.
