In response to an exceptional number of reported incidents of identity theft and fraudulent crimes, Coastal is taking assertive measures to combat and prevent criminal activities. We have far exceeded all regulatory mandates to ensure the safety of our member shares.

If your identity is stolen, we're here to help you get your life back. We are available around the clock to help our members prevent and avoid serious consequences.

  1. Our Identity Theft Specialists are equipped to help you every step of the way if identity theft happens to you.
  2. Call 919-420-8211 immediately to speak to an Identity Theft Specialist who will help you take care of things even when you don't know where to start.

What if I've already been victimized? First be sure that you've notified all of your financial partners (Use the handy link to get the standard IDTheft affidavit). Here at Coastal, that would mean our Risk Management Department. Contact the Risk Management Fraud Department at 919-420-8211.

Remember, forewarned is forearmed! An ounce of prevention will definitely go a long way. If you are victimized, keep copies of all of your correspondence.
