Chuck Purvis Presented with Horizon Award

On June 22, Chuck Purvis was presented with the Horizon Award from Constellation Digital Partners. The award was given during the Gravity Awards ceremony at Constellation’s annual LAUNCH Conference.

The Horizon Award marks significant contributions to the success of Constellation over time. No doubt, Chuck has been instrumental in their success and is responsible for their very creation. Chuck had the idea for the new digital services platform in 2013. That idea became a Coastal project, and eventually led to Constellation being launched as its own entity in 2017. Today, Constellation's platform enables credit unions to enhance their digital banking services by leveraging the power of fintechs to deliver a modern and member-centric experience.

In presenting the award, Constellation CEO Kris Kovacs said, “As far as I'm concerned, this year's winner has made the greatest possible contributions that makes Constellation successful. We would not be here were it were not for this man, Chuck Purvis. He had the courage and determination to do something that nobody has ever done before, and the wherewithal to say. ‘we're going to take talent, effort, and time away from the everyday work that we do to build something for the future generations of credit unions.’”
