Page Compliance
Coastal strives to make every page accessible to users but cannot guarantee that every page fully meets Level AA compliance.
Coastal Credit Union is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to assist members with disabilities and ensure easy access to our services.
We have implemented the recommendations of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as published by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). While there is no definitive test nor certification of conformance to Level AA of the WCAG, we have utilized various methods for assessing accessibility:
Coastal strives to make every page accessible to users but cannot guarantee that every page fully meets Level AA compliance.
We have utilized WCAG guidelines for compliance as recommended by the Department of Justice. While some of the standards meet 508 Compliance, Coastal is not fully 508 Compliant.
Coastal chose to use WCAG for compliance because these guidelines are established by the W3C, the consortium responsible for creating standards for the Internet globally.
