Frequently asked questions about Digital Wallets.

Coastal does not charge a fee to use a Coastal card with digital wallets. However, be aware that depending on your wireless plan, some rates may apply.
Even though it would be extremely difficult for someone other than you to use your digital wallet, you should get a new card number if you believe your device has been stolen. Please call 800-868-4262, verify all transactions on your statement, and request that we close your old card and send you a new card number.
If the merchant in question accepts digital wallets, you will be able to use your Coastal card enrolled in your digital wallet to complete online purchases.
Digital wallets disguise your card number and use dynamic information that changes for each transaction, making it difficult for bad actors to capture and use your card information.
Coastal cards can be used with Apple Pay®, Samsung Pay®, Garmin Pay®, and Google Pay®.
