Once the minimum balance for a particular tier's range is met, the APY for that balance range will apply to the full balance of your account. Your APY will be determined at the end of the month by looking at your average daily balance. A minimum average daily balance of $10,000 is required to get the 3.00% APY rate on the entire balance. For example, if the account is open for 10 days, we will take the total balance at the end of the month, divide it by 10, and determine if it’s above the threshold.
