Coastal Credit Union Hires Charlene Foley as VP, Brand & Member Experience

Coastal Credit Union has hired Charlene Foley as VP, Brand and Member Experience, a new role. She will be responsible for planning and executing strategies for achieving excellence in member experience; and promoting a culture of member-centric excellence across all member touchpoints, including Coastal’s branches, contact centers, and remote and digital delivery channels.

Foley brings more than 25 years of experience that includes customer experience management, omni-channel engagement, marketing strategy, analytics, product management, communications and strategic planning. She served as VP, Exceptional Experience at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina and was most recently the Chief Customer Officer for Hearful Technologies, Inc.

She holds a Bachelor of Science from Appalachian State University and Master’s degree from UNC Chapel Hill. Her volunteering and community leadership has included the Appalachian State University Foundation Board of Directors, Leadership North Carolina Executive Board, and the Durham Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
