I recently had the opportunity to speak with Catherine Honeycutt and Luis Feliz of the Better Business Bureau during their “Brunch with BBB” podcast.

We spoke about COVID-related scams, including several new variants of old scams that have popped up recently. It was a good opportunity to provide listeners with some ways to protect their sensitive personal and financial information. We also walked through what to do if you think you’ve been scammed.

As an added bonus, I shared a link to the recent CUInsight article, “10 Tactics Scammers Use to Trick Credit Union Members” to help you identify to a number of things to be on the lookout for… telltale signs that the person you’re dealing with might not have honest intentions.

It’s definitely worth a listen, so check it out.
