Coastal and Carolinas Credit Union Foundation Award Scholarships
Coastal Credit Union, in partnership with Carolinas Credit Union Foundation, is proud to announce nine winners of the Credit Union Scholarship Program, totaling $26,000 awarded in scholarship funds. All scholarships are merit based, with three being larger amounts based on financial needs.
The nine winners are:
- Alaina Marye Parker, attending University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
- Arielle Brown, attending University of North Carolina at Charlotte
- Jessica Lang, attending Belmont University
- John R Nolan, attending North Carolina State University
- Layla Davenport, attending Meredith College
- Luke Thomas Holloway, attending Colorado State University
- Nicolea Dwight, attending University of North Carolina Wilmington
- Sarah Prosser, attending Virginia Wesleyan University
- Taran CoyneSmith, attending The College of Wooster
Tuition costs are rising at both public and private universities and colleges. Coastal is committed to helping students financially through the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation Scholarship Fund. The Foundation oversees scholarships for several credit unions throughout the Carolinas, including Coastal.
