If the past two years have taught us anything, it's how to adapt in order to thrive in changing times. At Coastal Credit Union, we, too, have adapted, always revisiting this important question: "How can we best uplift our community?”

Helping people Bank Better to Live Better is at the core of what we do at Coastal, so our goal, naturally, is to help improve the lives of those in our communities. That’s why we created the Coastal Credit Union Foundation, our standalone nonprofit entity with a mission to serve: share generously, welcome diversity, be accountable. These are the passions at the core of who we are. How does this happen, practically speaking? Supporting restaurant workers while their employers had to shutter their businesses. Offering lending services to underserved communities. Funding Meals on Wheels. Contributing to and expanding pandemic relief options.

Today, we continue to evaluate how else we can push the envelope, challenging ourselves to evolve what day-to-day support for our neighbors and communities looks like. These efforts predate pandemic times, and will continue long afterward. Tune in for the latest in our "By All Accounts" series as Creighton Blackwell, Chief Community Impact and Public Affairs Officer, describes the Foundation, its initiatives with our partner organizations, and how we’re continuing to make life better for our neighbors.
