2023-24 Credit Union Scholarship Applications Now Open
According to U.S. News & World Report, college tuition has risen steadily over the past two decades, even outpacing inflation. So, it’s not surprising that cost has traditionally been the biggest hurdle that students face in completing higher education.
One way that credit unions can help prospective students is through the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation Scholarship Fund. The foundation oversees scholarships for several credit unions throughout the Carolinas, including Coastal.
Members of any credit union in North or South Carolina, with a non-weighted GPA of 3.0 or higher, are eligible to apply. The application deadline is February 1, 2024. Scholarship recipients will be notified in April.
