The info session will share specific information regarding the initiative, what it takes to volunteer. Coastal will pay for 30 male employees or members to take part in the program as Bigs and, together, we can decrease the wait time and help match the children with a caring and safe mentor.

About BBBST

For more than 20 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle has been Eastern North Carolina’s premier mentoring organization, defending the potential of future leaders in the community by matching historically marginalized youth (Littles) with committed adult mentors (Bigs). These relationships – strategically matched based on Littles’ needs and Bigs’ backgrounds and skills, as well as common interests, aspirations, and personalities – empower Littles to achieve success in life and become productive members of the community. Our one-to-one mentoring relationships support the critical social and emotional development needed to help build resilience and promote the mental health and well-being of hundreds of children we serve across the Triangle.
