Hurricane Helene Relief

As our state faces the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, Coastal’s deepest concern is caring for those directly affected by the storm. We are supporting our members, rallying to the aid of our fellow credit unions, and identifying ways to support the impacted communities of Western North Carolina.

Credit Card Disaster Relief

All Coastal credit card holders are eligible for 0.00% APR108 for six months on new purchases made in the following merchant categories from September 28 to November 27, 2024:

Member Assistance Program

Members living in a FEMA-declared disaster area in North Carolina may be eligible for a special assistance package. Applications for assistance are being handled through our Member Assistance Program.

Community Relief Resources

As a cooperative, it is important that we come together to support our credit union community in addition to our own members and the immediate communities that we serve. The Coastal Credit Union Foundation has made a donation to the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation Disaster Relief Fund, which is established to assist affected employees of credit unions in all impacted regions. If you would like to support this effort, CCUF is accepting donations online.

We are still in the earliest recovery phases and are focused on providing immediate emergency relief. We will continue to monitor the recovery and rebuilding efforts and will work to support new needs as they arise.
